Navicat MySQL 8.0.29 can’t connect to ntunnel_mysql.php Connection

Posted in Troubleshooting on April 27th, 2009 by madhava – 15 Comments

The problem? Navicat MySQL 8.0.29 can’t connect to ntunnel_mysql.php Connection.
The culprit? c:\windows\system32\wininet.dll
The solution? People have been talking about replacing the dll with one from XP. I was hesitant to replace my Vista dlls with ones from half a decade ago. Instead I opted for the working Win7 Beta dll :)
